Information of what applies when returning the car.

When you want to cancel your reservation you’ll receive a checklist to go through before you end the reservation. Below, we have gathered information on what applies when returning the car.

  • Return the car to the same spot you picked it up.

  • Make sure that there are no new damages during the booking period that have not already been reported.

  • Don’t forget to take out the trash. Double check for personal belongings.

  • If you drive the electric cars XC40 Recharge or C40 Recharge should the car be returned with 80% battery level. The remaining cars should be returned fully refuelled and charged.

Return the car to the same spot you picked it up. In your reservation details you’ll find the address and directions to the station.

Don’t forget refuelling and charging. The car should be 100% refuelled when you return it. If you drive the electric cars XC40 Recharge or C40 Recharge, should the car be returned with 80% battery level.

Remember to take out trash and personal belongings. We will clean the car after your monthly booking, but you are expected to leave the car in an approved condition.

  • The inside of the car must be cleaned. Light soiling of the interior (for example, traces of sand on carpets or in the trunk, fingerprints on the display or panel) is accepted upon return.

  • Coarse dirt such as stains on seats, chairs and interior (roof, mouldings, door panels, windows) as well as all forms of rubbish must be taken care of and emptied from the car for an approved return.

  • Strong smells and odors that may require decontamination are not counted as normal soiling.

  • Everything in addition to normal soiling on the outside of the car must be fixed.

  • Please note that stains from fuel, birds and other things that do not disappears in a normal car wash must be removed immediately when discovered, otherwise this can damage the paintwork and lead to repainting of the car.

    Lock the car and end the reservation. When you end the reservation you’ll receive a checklist to go through. Lastly, lock the car and end the reservation.
