If you exceed the speed limit on a road with a recognized speed limit, the car will warn you with an audible signal along with a flashing speed limit symbol. The warning signal stops when you slow down to the speed limit.

Can this be disabled? And if so, how?

You cannot permanently disable ISA as this is a requirement regulated by EU law. This means you either have to use the audible warning or the adaptive pedal response.

However, you can disable it temporarily by:

  1. Go to quick settings on the center display

    Px-2037-VOC app icon Car
  2. Click on Speed limit warnings

The alarm will then be switched off for the rest of the trip. This means that the next time you start the car, it will be activated again. You can replace the warning signal with adaptive pedal response. It helps you comply with the speed limit by limiting the vehicle's propulsion. Pressing harder on the accelerator pedal temporarily deactivates the function. The function may feel above at first, so test yourself.

  1. Go to settings on the center display

  2. Select Driver assistance > Intelligent speed assistance (ISA)

  3. Enable Adaptive Pedal Response
